Village Of Dresden Seeking Insurance Proposals

The Village of Dresden is seeking proposals on its Property, Liability, and Automobile Insurance program. Specifications for and about the various coverage and instructions can be picked up at the Municipal Building or request an emailed copy from the Fiscal Officer, Shellie Adkins. All proposals must be received by 12:00 p.m. June 1, 2022 :

Sealed bids will be open during the Finance Committee meeting, reviewed, and preliminarily approved on June 1, 2022 5:30 at the Municipal Building.

It is the intention of the Village of Dresden that any coverage proposal accepted will be effective as of 6/15/2022.

Municipal site for the Village of Dresden, Ohio located in northern Muskingum County. Dresden is located on or near the site of a Shawnee (Native American) village known as Wakatomika, which gave its name to Wakatomika Creek, the creek that empties into the Muskingum River near the northern edge of the village. Dresden is the birthplace of the Longaberger Company, started in 1919 by the J.W. Longaberger family and famous for handmade maple splint baskets. Dresden is also the home of ”The World’s Largest Basket”, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
